The Andaman and Nicobar Islands is a union territory of India consisting of 572 islands, 37 of which are inhabited, at the junction of the Bay of Bengal and the Andaman Sea. Andaman and Nicobar Islands have India's best nesting beaches for three species of marine turtles Hawksbill, Green turtle and world's largest sea turtle the Leatherback.
